The Man in Glory VS Leading Us into Glory

Hebrews 2:10 For it was fitting that He, for whom and through whom all things exist, should be the author of the salvation of many sons, in order that he might bring them to glory, should perfect them through suffering.

Col 1:27 - Christ in you, the hope of glory

Heb 6:20 - Jesus as forerunner...entered within the veil for us

1 Cor 2:7 - God predestined us for glory before ages

Key Findings:

"The One in Glory" represents Christ's completed work of redemption and His perfect state in glory.

"Leading Us into Glory" represents Christ's ongoing work of salvation as the Originator and Captain.

 

Tense Difference:

The former is completed (Past Perfect), while the latter is ongoing (Present Progressive).

 

This contrast helps us understand that:

Christ is both the source and standard of our glory (the One in Glory) and the Guide who leads us to that same glory (Leading Us into Glory).
