The Faithful Followers of Christ — The Living Stars

The Faithful Followers of Christ — The Living Stars

Daniel 12:3 The wise will shine like the glory of the heavens; he who leads many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever.

Genesis 22:17 As for blessings I will bless you; as for multiplication I will make your offspring as the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore; your offspring will possess the gates of their enemies.

Matthew 13:43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s kingdom. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

Revelation 1:20 Regarding the mystery of the seven stars and the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the messengers of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

Aspect

The Faithful Followers of Christ — The Living Stars

Meaning

The living stars are Christ’s faithful followers who shine as living luminaries. They follow Christ as the unique Morning Star and become His reproduction and expression. They are not religious figures but spiritual persons bearing responsibility in the churches, shining in darkness.
📖 Dan. 12:3; Rev. 1:20; Rev. 22:16

Reason

Christ is the center and universality of God’s economy, and He needs a group of people to follow His heavenly, living, present, and instant vision so that He may be expressed and expanded.
📖 Acts 26:16–18; Col. 1:17b, 18b

Characteristics

1️  Following the vision of the Morning Star, not religious tradition
2️
Shining in darkness and turning people to righteousness
3️
Paying attention to the prophetic word as to a lamp shining in a dark place
4️
Walking in God-given light, not self-made light
📖 2 Pet. 1:19; Isa. 50:10–11; Psa. 139:7–12

Function

To bring in ruling through shining for the growth of life. Where there is shining, there is the kingdom, God’s authority, and the growth of life.
📖 Gen. 1:14–19; Matt. 17:1–8; Matt. 13:43

Examples

The prudent ones in Daniel
The seven starsthe messengers of the seven churches
Spiritual persons in local churches who shine and guide people to the right way
📖 Dan. 12:3; Rev. 1:16, 20; Rev. 2:1

Application

1️  Rising early to meet the Lord according to the principle of the Morning Star
2️
Pray-reading and paying attention to the Word so that Christ may rise daily in the heart
3️
Being a shining one in the church, not one who seeks position
📖 Psa. 5:1–3; S. of S. 7:12; Exo. 16:21; John 6:63

Burden

In an age of apostasy and darkness, the Lord desires to gain living stars in the churches to shine, supply, and guide God’s people for the testimony of Jesus.
📖 Rev. 1:2; 12:11; 19:10

Prophesying Guidance

Declare Christ as the Morning Star walking among the churches today
Testify that the stars are in the churches, not outside religion
Call the saints to become shining ones who turn many to righteousness
📖 Rev. 2:28; Rev. 22:16–17; Dan. 12:3

Conclusion

The New Testament begins with one star and ends with many stars. Christ is the bright Morning Star, and all who faithfully follow Him become living stars in the churches, shining forever and ever.
📖 Matt. 2:1–2; Rev. 1:20; Rev. 22:16

In summary, Christ is the morning star, and those who faithfully follow Him in the church are the living stars; they shine in the darkness, leading people to righteousness and imparting the living Christ into God's people for the manifestation of God's kingdom and the growth of life.
