“Eating vs Building”
Daniel 1:8 But Daniel resolved
not to defile himself with the king’s food or the king’s wine, so he asked the chief eunuch to allow him not to defile
himself.
Daniel 1:11 Daniel said to the
officials appointed by the chief eunuch to manage Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael,
and Azariah,
Daniel 1:12 “Try to give our
servants ten days a meal of greens and water to drink.”
Daniel 1:15 After ten days
they were found to be more handsome and stronger than all the young men who ate
the king’s food.
Daniel 1:16 So the officials removed the food and wine that had been assigned to them and gave them only greens.
