“The Revelation Received by the Prophet” vs “The Burden Received by the
Prophet”
Isaiah 6:1 In the year King
Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a high throne, and his robes covered the
entire temple.
Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the
voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” I said,
“Here I am; send me.”
Jeremiah 1:9 Then the Lord
stretched out his hand and touched my mouth; and the Lord said to me, “I have
put my words in your mouth.”
Jeremiah 20:9 If I say, “I
will no longer speak of him or in his name,” I feel a burning fire within my
bones, and I cannot contain it.
John 8:28 Therefore Jesus said
to them, “After you have lifted up the Son of Man, you will know who I am and
what I do not do on my own. I say these things as the Father taught me.”
John 2:17 Then his disciples
remembered that it was written: “My soul is burning with anguish for your
household.”
Ephesians 3:3 This mystery was
revealed to me, as I have briefly written before,
Ephesians 3:4 By reading it
you will understand all that I have learned about the mystery of Christ,
Ephesians 3:5 which was not
made known to the children of men in other ages as it is now revealed in the
Spirit to his holy apostles and prophets;
2 Corinthians 11:28 Besides things not yet mentioned, I am daily burdened with anxiety for all the churches.
