overcomes, he will never suffer the second death.

|
Meaning |

Spirit is an inward, opened hearing to perceive God’s economy. |
|
Reason |

they hear; thus the call for overcomers. |
|
Metaphor |
The ear must be
opened, circumcised, cleansed by blood, and anointed by the Spirit. |
|
Explanation |
Spiritual
seeing depends on spiritual hearing; dull ears result in blindness to God’s
move. |
|
Way |

ears; accept circumcision to deal with rebellion; be cleansed by the blood;
be anointed by the Spirit; stand in the proper position in the churches. |
|
Result |
Produces
hearing ears → produces overcomers → brings believers into God’s economy. |
|
Purpose |
That believers
may not
only hear but also
follow what the Spirit speaks. |
|
Example |
John heard the
voice first and then saw the vision. |
|
Application |
In meetings and Bible reading, seek not only
understanding but inward hearing of the
Spirit. |
|
Burden |
To produce a
group who have ears to hear and who follow what they hear. |
|
Prophesying Guide |
Lord, open,
circumcise, cleanse, and anoint my ears so that I may hear what the Spirit says to the churches and
become an overcomer. |
|
Conclusion |
Overcomers come
not from position but from
hearing ears formed through divine dealing. |
